AboutCreature, based in Brighton, England, is a group that appreciates the dark and elusive character of the Vampire... whether in book, films, costume, or as a general addition to the gothic scene/genre.
We do not promote vampirism - this is an appreciation society.
We meet on the first Sunday of every month at 7:30pm for our casual-social event, at the Seven Stars pub in Brighton. Find us on the raised platform at the back of the pub.

Our Aims:
We aim to do as many varied events as possible. As well as social gatherings, we would like to organise cinema/theatre trips, book clubs, formal events, day trips, and possibly group holidays.
In the long term, we hope to revive the gothic scene in Brighton, and make goth as big as it was in the 80s.
Background Info
Creature was originally created on meetup.com by Selena, in September 2009, as a way for her to meet like-minded people in Brighton. In January 2010, Creature was handed over to the current organiser, Sascha, also known as Ophelia.
Our first meet was held on February 7, 2010, at the Seven Stars in Brighton, and was a great success.
The Creature Facebook page is currently run by our organiser, Sascha. The MySpace page is maintained by Maria.
